Eat Well for Life Part One

Somerset Hospital through Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield will offer Eat Well for Life 1 at two different times in February 2010.
Eat Well for Life 1 is a lifestyle improvement program promoting wellness and long-term weight management through increasing physical activity and healthy eating. Participants learn to make healthful food choices and are encouraged to adopt the nutrition practices needed to achieve a balanced lifestyle and long-term weight management.
There is no fee required for Highmark members to participate in Eat Well for Life 1, and only a nominal fee for non-Highmark members who sign up. The professional staff at Somerset Hospital has been trained by Highmark to administer this weight management program.
