Somerset Hospital employees and the public are invited to gather around the Christmas tree on Friday, December 7th to kickoff the Somerset Hospital Auxiliary’s 2012 Giving Tree Project. The kickoff event will also include a craft show and bake sale.
The kickoff will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the hospital’s main lobby. The bake sale will be held in the Community Connection Conference Room while the craft show will be held in Conference Room 423. All proceeds from the holiday project will benefit the hospital’s In Touch Hospice program for terminally ill patients and their families.
Contributors to the Giving Tree Project will have a dove placed on the Giving Tree in the hospital’s main lobby. Contributions may be made in honor or in memory of a friend, family member or a loved one.
Persons not able to make the kick off may purchase a dove by forwarding their contribution to the Somerset Hospital Auxiliary, % Mary Ann McGinnis, 159 Laurel View Drive, Boswell, PA 15531 before the end of the year. Donation envelopes will also be available at the hospital gift shop.
In Touch Hospice is a nonprofit service provided by the hospital. For information or to make a referral to In Touch Hospice, call Clinical Director Melissa Mulhollen at 443-5047.
