Harold Kaufman of the Materiels Management department is the Somerset Hospital Employee of the Quarter for October to December 2011.

Harold began employment at Somerset Hospital in November 2000 as a Courier for the Materiels Management department. In 2007, he began working as a Storeroom Clerk and in June 2011 transferred to the positions of Valet and Courier.

Kaufman was nominated by employees Joyce Farrell and Peggy Hay. “Harold does what needs to be done in a courteous and friendly manner and is willing to go that extra mile,” states Joyce Farrell. “He is truly a team player in every aspect and performs with professionalism and integrity,” added co-worker Mark Long.

Kaufman is now in the running for the Employee of the Year which will be announced in the Fall of 2012.
