For years, Somerset Hospital has been working to improve patient safety and quality.  Several resources have been developed to assist the patient and our own employees regarding patient safety and quality.  We invite patients and caregivers both to visit the websites of the Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority and the Pennsylvania Healthcare Quality Alliance.  These websites compare hospital performance and allow patients and caregiver the tools to evaluate and improve the quality of care.  The websites are as follows:
