Mark Frick -Vice President of Human Resources

Somerset Hospital has announced that Mark Frick has begun serving as the Vice President of Human Resources effective June 10, 2013.  Mr. Frick’s most recent experience includes serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at UPMC McKeesport.  Prior to his leadership role at UPMC, he also served the Excela Health System as a Vice President supervising various human resource functions. 

Frick brings significant experience to Somerset Hospital having served in various healthcare leadership roles throughout his career including Chief Network Officer and Chief Financial Officer for a regional healthcare provider. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
In his role as the Vice President of Human Resources, Mark will be responsible for the organization’s entire human resource function, including enhancement of ongoing employee engagement and development initiatives as well as serving as a key member of the Somerset Hospital senior leadership team.

Frick will join the existing human resource team at Somerset Hospital. The Human Resources Department serves over 850 individuals employed by Somerset Hospital and affiliates.
