Melissa Mulhollen-New Clinical Director for In Touch Hospice

Melissa Mulhollen of Somerset has been named the Clinical Director for Somerset Hospital’s In Touch Hospice Program based at the In Touch Hospice House on North Center Avenue in Somerset.

Mulhollen will be responsible for the day to day operations of the In Touch Hospice Program. This includes supervision of the hospice house and the home hospice staff, budgeting responsibilities, maintaining a quality assurance program and providing oversight to the volunteer and bereavement programs.

Mulhollen attended Russell Sage College in Troy, New York where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She has been employed at Somerset Hospital since 2000, serving for eight years as a Registered Nurse in the hospital’s Skilled Nursing Unit and three years as a Case Manager in the Quality Services Department. Mulhollen has also been involved with the hospital’s swing bed program and skin care committee.

“I am honored to be a part of the In Touch Hospice program and plan on continuing its purpose to serve the community,” stated Mulhollen.
