Somerset Hospital’s Outpatient Behavioral Health Service provides psych-social, emotional assessments, diagnosis and therapeutic interventions. They also develop individualized recovery plans that are client centered and could include services to individuals, couples or families depending on the assessment needs.
Patients are referred from various sources including the following: Somerset Hospital’s Behavioral Health Unit, local primary care physicians, specialty physician groups, employee assistance programs, self-referrals, occupational medicine, emergency room physicians, Healthy Beginnings Plus and other mental health and community agencies.
Dr. Anil Parekh is the Medical Director for Outpatient Behavioral Health.
The Outpatient Behavioral Health Service collaborates with community and family supports as needed. Nontraditional hours, early morning, after school or evening appointments are available to accommodate a wide range of needs.
