At Somerset Orthopaedics, our team of physicians, physician assistants and staff are dedicated to providing our patients with quality orthopaedic care and outstanding customer service.

Located conveniently across the street from Somerset Hospital, the practice is housed on the second floor of the Wheeler Family Medical Center. The 5,800 square foot facility contains 10 exam rooms and three casting areas. Two x-ray suites, state of the art digital x-ray equipment, and a viewing monitor in each exam area allow the providers to review x-rays with their patients immediately after the x-rays are taken in the office.

Established in 2004 the practice has continued to grow steadily. Dr. Jonathan Kates started with the practice in September 2004 and was joined by Dr. Gary Schmidt in August 2006. Our most recent addition, Dr. William Greer, joined Somerset Orthopaedics in May 2009. The practice also has two physician assistants. The Somerset Orthopaedics team also consists of a surgery scheduler, patient educator, x-ray technicians, medical assistants, and numerous front office staff.
