One hundred shooters participated in the Second Annual Somerset Hospital Auxiliary Sporting Clays Shoot on Friday, September 28th at Seven Springs Resort. The proceeds from the event which totaled $19,500 benefitted the Hospital Auxiliary’s Digital Mammography Fundraising Project.
The overall winning team members were Chris Kline, Adam Vollmer, Jared Shaffer and Hayden Gahr with a score of 323. The high overall shooter was Mitch Fetterolf with a score of 94.
A Class individual award winners were first place, Evan Fetterolf (92); second place, Adam Vollmer (87); and third place, Rich Leonard (87). The B Class individual award winners were first place John McGinnis (65); second place, Dr. Chuck King II (64); and, third place, Buzzy Gabany (64). The C Class award winners were first place, Matthew Walker (49); second place, Butch Wahl (49); and, Cindi Meyers (48).
Fun stand winners were as follows: Five Stand Winner, Charlie Cleavenger; Terrible Teal, Ed Gott and Two Man Flush, Charlie and Colleen Cleavenger. Mary Ann McGinnis was given the Most Honest Shooter Award.
The event also featured a silent and live auction, free massages from the Trillium Spa, free Bruster’s Ice Cream and a sit down salmon and prime rib dinner.
